Christmas and New Years

This year my family came into town for the holidays. It was so fun to spend some time with them. Schelley and Nestor got to stay for almost two full weeks so we had a ton of time to catch up. We spent a ton of time playing games, my favorite thing to do. We all went over to Mike's house for Christmas. I was so excited for Carter and his first Christmas. I think he was a bit overwhelmed with so many people and so many gifts. He fell asleep before he could open all of his presents. I think his favorite present was from my brother Mike. He bought him a electronic dog named Scout. You program the dog with all of your child's favorite things and he talks to him by name. Carter gets so excited when Scout says his name or talks to him. He will give him hugs and lay his head on him, it is so cute! We spent New Years Eve walking around the Gateway and then taking pictures on Temple Square. It was really fun, but so dang cold! This is when Carter and Nestor really bonded. Nestor can get Carter to stick out his tongue on demand...thanks Nestor!
